Order terms & conditions.

1. Information

You can find everything you need to know about us, The Fall Bridal Limited (‘The Fall Bride’), and our products on our website, and from our sales staff before you order. We also confirm the key information to you in writing after you order, by email.

2. Payment

You are required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit upon ordering a made-to-order style. All made-to-order items are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

You are required to settle any outstanding balance within 30-days of your order arriving to our store – you will be notified via email of the readiness of your order.

Goods remain the property of The Fall Bride until we have received payment in full. No goods may be removed from The Fall Bride’s premises until payment has been completed in full.

If you decide to cancel a made-to-order item you are not entitled to a refund of any monies paid, and you forfeit the order.

4. Interest

If we're unable to collect any payment you owe us, we charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 4% a year above the Bank of England base rate from time to time. This interest accrues on a daily basis from the due date until the date of actual payment of the overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You pay us the interest together with any overdue amount.

5. Force Majeure

In the event that a supplier (designer) is unable to fulfil your order due to events outside of their control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and you will be liable to receive a refund for any products you have paid for, but not received, less reasonable costs we have already incurred.

6. Products Variation

Please note that slight variations in tone may occur between the showroom sample and the final gown. A product’s true colour may not match the sample exactly, or any images shown on www.TheFallBride.com. Whilst every effort has been made to display our products as truly and clearly as possible, where computer monitor displays may vary per device, we cannot guarantee your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be entirely accurate.

Please note in particular the following product variations:

  • Harriette Gordon – Organza Silks – silk protein fibres, not considered a flaw

  • Lola Varma – Silk Crepe – slight tonal variation due to batch dying, styles on the same order will be cut from the same batch to ensure a match

  • Kamperett – Organza Silks – slight tonal variation due to batch dying

  • NEWHITE – delivers gowns with raw hem to facilitate ease of final alterations

Acceptance of these T&Cs accepts any such variations.

8. Providing Measurements

All gowns are ordered in standard sizes and closest to your measurements at the time of ordering, unless otherwise specified (e.g., paying additional fees for split sizing).

Where we are making the product to measurements at the time of ordering, it is your responsibility to make sure that if these change for any reason you inform us immediately. The Fall Bridal Ltd does not accept any responsibility in respect of any changes which may occur in the Customer’s size and body shape after the date of ordering.

9. Failure to Provide Necessary Information

We may need to charge you additional sums if you don't give us information we've asked for, such as customisations for the dress, or delivery details. All information needs to be confirmed in writing.

For example, if you have not provided a delivery address (or an incorrect address), we might need to re-deliver at an additional cost to you.

10. Delivery and Collection

We will provide you with an estimated arrival date for your order, however The Fall Bridal Ltd is not bound to this and is not responsible for any designer production or shipping provider delays.

11. Alterations

The price of goods excludes all costs in respect of alterations of fitting work howsoever this service is provided.

The Fall Bridal Ltd will provide you with contact information for local seamstresses, however, is not responsible for any results of the alterations provided. You may choose to have fittings and alterations elsewhere if desired.

12. Faulty Goods

If you think there is a manufacturing error with your product, you must let us know during the Collection appointment and leave the goods with us for inspection and follow-up with the supplier.

Once goods leave our premises, we are no longer liable for after-sales care in respect to manufacturing errors or deviations from your original order.

We honour our legal duty to provide you with products that are as described to you on our website and that meet all the requirements imposed by law. For detailed information on your legal rights please visit the Citizens Advice website www.citizensadvice.org.uk. Please also remember that you have several options for resolving disputes with us.

14. Change and Suspension of Products

Changes we can always make:

We can always change a product in line with a third-party designer’s amendments orto make technical adjustments and improvements. These are changes that don't materially affect your use of the product.

Changes we can only make if we give you notice and an option to terminate:

We can also make changes to the product or these terms, but if we do so we'll notify you and you can then contact us directly to end the contract before the change takes effect and receive a refund for any products you've paid for, but not received.

We can suspend supply of a product (and you have rights if we do) if the supplier needs to:

deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes;

update the product to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; or

make changes to the product.

We will let you know, may adjust the price, and may allow you to terminate. We contact you in advance to tell you we're suspending supply unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. If we suspend the product, we adjust the price, so you don't pay for it while it’s suspended. If we suspend supply, or tell you we're going to suspend supply, for an extended period you can contact us directly to end the contract and we'll refund any sums you've paid in advance for products you won't receive.

We can withdraw products

We can stop providing a product. We let you know in advance and we refund any sums you've paid in advance for products which won't be provided.

15. Termination

We can end our contract with you for a product at our sole discretion. We are most likely to end our contract with you for a product and claim any compensation due to us if:

you don't make any payment to us when it's due and you still don't make payment within 14 days of our reminding you that payment is due;

you don't, within a reasonable time of us asking for it, provide us with information, cooperation or access that we need to provide the product, for example, up to date accurate measurements;

you don't, within a reasonable time, either allow us to deliver the product to you or collect it from us. If you have said you will collect the product but you don't do this within 1 month then we treat your order as cancelled and refund the purchase price.

16. Liability

We're responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking this contract unless the loss is:

Unexpected. It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your order meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).

Caused by a delaying event outside our control. We're not responsible for delays outside our control.

Avoidable. Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following our reasonable instructions for use.

A business loss. It relates to your use of a product for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.
